Novel Teaching methodologies
With a thorough knowledge on academics and vast experience, methodologies for teaching in AIeMS is set and studied empirically. Few trend setting decisions are taken in this direction to achieve excellence in academic standards. New procedures for class room teaching, Staff development programs, Morning displayed at classroom and celebration of National festivals are few initiatives found motivating. Here is a glimpse of the various tools with which AIeMS encourages students to excel.
- Each class room contains computer system and a overhead projector apart from basic amenities
- Power point presentations are used to teach the subjects making with maximum visual or pictorials presentation
- Faculties are facilitated with motivational and technical talks to boost their morale.
- Internal Assessment (IA) marks are summarized, analyzed and future course of action is taken.
- Day in class room starts by displaying visuals about Eminent personalities, Thought for the day and Word for the day
LCD projected lessons everyday
Presenting each of the class, all through the Semester through PPT presentations in each class room is the facility which is unheard among the Engineering institutions. We at AIeMS have provided LCD projectors to all the classrooms, fitted permanently overhead. Every faculty member will prepare for the classes meticulously and present the lessons along with PPT presentations. The students would then be exposed to the systematic way of learning things.
Online access to lessons
AIeMS is the only institution in Karnataka to provide the lessons online to its students. All the lessons taken would be provided to the students to enable them study the topics in their own domain.
Courseware Portal
AIeMS is designing a contemporary Courseware Portal, where students can discuss academic things, faculty can assign academic exercises and evaluate the students’ performance through online communication.
Opensource Movement
AIeMS strongly supports Opensource Movement. Towards this end, AIeMS is moving towards Opensource tools in managing its administration and technology.
