Governing Council

The Governing Council of AIeMS is virtually a team of professionals who have excelled in their respective fields.

Shri Pradeep Oak , Chairman, Governing Council

Mr Pradeep Oak is a Founder Director & CEO of Oak Systems ( www.oaksys.net) – a specialist Independent Software Testing Company based in Bangalore and having offices in Pune, Hyderabad & U K. Pradeep has over 22 years of experience in the IT industry. After doing his M Tech from IIT Kanpur, Pradeep started his professional career with TCS as software developer, designer and then project leader. Later, at Index Computing (now ANZ-IT) he was responsible for streamlining QC activities as a Quality Controller. Pradeep is  among the first 20 CQA's in India. With background in software development and flair for software quality, Pradeep consulted with HP towards its CMM L5 achievement. Pradeep has been an active teacher delivering lectures on SE, SQA, and Project Management topics at conferences, workshops and seminars in India, China and other AsiaPac countries.  Pradeep has co-authored a book on Software Testing published by McGraw Hill in 2004.  Pradeep is also instrumental in setting up OAK-BVB and OAK-PDA centers of Excellence at engineering Colleges in Hubli  & Gulbarga to propagate Software QA and V&V among the academicians and students.  In addition to the professional responsibilities, Pradeep is a Trustee of Adamya Chetana Foundation, a Bangalore based NGO, active in Education & Health sectors. The NGO has been providing midday meals to over 2,50,000 children from Govt & aided primary schools in Bangalore, Hubli, Gulbarga and in Jodhpur (Rajasthan). He also manages a blood donation portal -  www.raktadan.org on behalf  of the trust.  He is also the Trustee & chairman of Governing council of AIeMS Engineering & Management  College at Bidadi, Bangalore ( www.AIeMS.in ).

ACTIVITIES OF ADAMYA CHETANA:

1.    ANNAPOORNA – A project reaching hot nutritious meals with the support of State Government, to

       80,000 children from 362 schools in and around Bangalore,
       70,000 children from 270 schools in Hubli
       65,000 children from 416 schools in Jodhpur, Rajasthan
       12,000 children in Gulbarga

2.    AATA-PATHA - A unique mobile resource facility using innovative and informal methods to make learning – teaching fun for both the teacher and the taught, designed for underprivileged children studying in Government Schools.

3.    AROGYA CHETANA – Arogya Chetana Health Insurance Policy - Mediclaim Policy for School Children  inaugurated by Former President Dr Abdul Kalam  (Premium is annually 25/-) Currently this policy is covering more than 20,000 under privileged school children.

Arogya Chetana Facility - is a health program covering thousands of children in Bangalore studying in Kannada Medium Schools. The components include health check-ups, provide free eye and dental treatment, provide financial support where required, a mobile clinic, a network of doctors, hospitals-clinics and voluntary organizations.

4. ADOPTION OF SCHOOLS – Striving for overall developments of Kannada Schools, including activities like providing infrastructure, health checkups, providing uniforms etc. Teams of committed housewives nurture these schools.

5. VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMMES – Training for the underprivileged, especially girls and women, in the areas of Computer and Tailoring since 1998.

6.www.raktadan.org - Hosting an innovative blood donation site; unique website bringing blood donors and the needy together.

7.    CHINNARA CHETANA – Unique wall magazine for school children, covering constructive news for children, information on science, history and other relevant topics. This wall paper is reaching 23000 schools of Karnataka every month.

Shri H.N. Nandakumar is the Founder Director of Vibhava Group of Companies, which is One of the India’s largest domestic cleaning solutions companies.

He is also the Governing Council Member of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Hubli and Hubli Education Society, Hubli. He has more than two decades of experience in industrial management.

Dr Vishnukant S. Chatpalli

Dr Vishnukant S. Chatpalli is now the Executive Director of Skill Commission, Government of Karnataka. He is the Secretary, Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Bangalore & Dharwad, serving in the field of education. He is the Former Special Officer for VTU and also the Former Regional Director, BMTPC, Govt of India. He has served as Professor & Dean, PESIT, Bangalore

Shri B V Vijayakumar is the Vice President, Global Sourcing & Corporate affairs at Wipro Infrastructure Engineering Ltd.
