Induction Program I- phase

The Department of Basic Science, AIeMS, Bidadi, organized an Online Induction Program I phase between 14/12/2020 to 19/12/2020 & II phase between 7/7/2021 To 12/5/2021 for 1st year BE Students For the fresh entrants to BE programs, in line with the AICTE requirements. The objective of this program was to acclimatize the students to the new environment and get them acquainted with the institution culture. The induction program comprised of interesting activities like talk on patriotism and Indian culture, talent hunt, team building activities, awareness on COVID-19 pandemic, creativity and innovation, expert lectures, universal human values, career guidance & placement activities, Health tips, Painting, music, debate and campus orientation sessions. The rationale for induction was to ensure a smooth transition for the students into the university system. A total of 18 students participated in this program. Faculty from across programs worked extensively to ensure that the induction was well organized.

I- phase Between 14/12/2020 to 19/12/2020

II- phase Between7/7/2021 To 12/5/2021

One month online KCET Coaching Classes

College Principal Dr. C B Shivayogi math was quoted in a release as saying,” Due to the pandemic many students were unable to attend physical classes and could not prepare themselves for KCET exams”

The crash course included the concepts of Physics, Chemistry ,Mathematics and Biology. It was sepecially designed course structure and highly experienced and qualified faculties had conducted it. There was also a regular mock test during this crash course.

College Principal Dr. C B Shivayogi math issued the prizes to best students in engineering and medical stream. Students were benefitted from this crash course.

One day online webinar on “Synthetic Biomacromolecules for Biomedical Applications”

The Department of Basic Science, AIeMS, Bidadi, organized an online webinar on,“Synthetic Biomacromolecules for Biomedical Applications” on 11th June, 2021 The resource person for the event was Dr. Mahesh B, Associate professor, Department of Chemistry, JSSATE, Bengaluru.Prof.Aradhana, Assistant Professor, Department of Basic Science, welcomed everyone to the event. Webinar coordinator Prof. Asha S C, Assistant Professor, Department of Basic Sciences, Amruta Institute Of Engineering and Management Sciences introduced resource person to the participants and spoke about the importance of the event. The webinar enlightened the participants regarding the importance of biomacromolecules in biomedical field. All the staff, Participants and students of the Amruta Institute Of Engineering and Management Sciences were present during the webinar.
