Water Conservation Awarness Program @ Ittamadu

The program was held on 20/9/2019 by the faculties and students of Civil Engineering Department of Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences, Where the students are actively participated and delivered the concepts of conservation of water and drinking water hygienity to the Ittamadu public and students of Govt. Higher Primary School of Ittamdu village through MIME act. Procession and a speech regarding the concept was successfully executed with the co-ordination of Department Staffs and HOD.

Green Plantation Program @AIEMS 2019

The staff and students of Department of Civil Engineering organized a plantation program in Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences, Bidadi on the occasion of New Year Celebrations on 04-01-2019 at 3:00 PM. Around 30 saplings were planted all around the campus. Ms. Arpitha G C and staff of Department of Civil Engineering motivated and guided the students to make the campus green and appealed them to adopt the saplings planted near their homes for healthy growth and creating a pure environment in the society. Dr. Mahendra K V, Principal, Head of Department and staff of all the Departments of AIeMS were present. This event was reported in Prajavani news daily on 05-01-2019.

Industrial Visit BWSSB Torekadanahalli on 24/04/2019

The Civil Engineering Department of Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences, Bidadi organized an Industrial visit on 24th April 2019. students (3rd , 5 th and 7 th semester) along with the faculty members of Civil Engineering Department, visited Water Treatment Plant at Torekadanalli (TK Halli)-reg. In the morning at 09:30 AM, the first visit was to the Water Treatment Plant at Torekadanalli. The tour of the Water Treatment Plant was conducted by Mr. Jagadhesh, operation and maintained engineer. The students were explained about the processes done in the Water Treatment plant by an engineer present in site. The process of water treatment Screening, Aeration, sedimentation, air diffuser, Rapid sand filter and Disinfection were explained to the students. They had a very interactive and informative session during the tour of the Water Treatment Plant. After a wonderful visit to the Water Treatment Plant, This industrial visit was highly useful for the students in gaining practical knowledge about processes carried out in Water Treatment Plant.
