MoU with Government Tool Room & Training Centre – ​Kanakapura

The Department of Mechanical Engineering signed MoU with Government Tool Room & Training Centre – Kanakapura, on 24th August, 2021, to facilitate internships, project works, industrial visits, guest lectures, faculty training, placements, and consultancies for the faculties and students of AIEMS.

Engineer’s Day Celebration

The Department of Mechanical Engineering had organized Engineer’s Day on 23rd and 24th September 2019. Shri. S. S. Prasad, CEO, Grid R&D, Bengaluru, was the chief guest for the event. Two competitions were organized during the event; 1) Model Making using Scrap, and 2) Design competition. Shri. Basavaraj Chandrashekara Kengapur, Governing Council Member, BVVS AIeMS, inaugurated the exhibition. The competition was judged by Dr. Veeresh Patil – Professor & Head, Department of Electronics & Communications Engineering, Dr. Kumar B I D – Professor, Department of Computer Science Engineering, and Dr. Sharada – Professor, Department of MBA. After the competitions, Shri. S. S. Prasad distributed certificates to the winners of the competitions. Dr. Suresha C N, Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, extended the vote of thanks.

Academy-Industry Meet

Academy-Industry Meet was held on 04th August 2018. Dr. Veeranna C Charantimath, Chairman, BVVS and, Shri Mahesh N Athani, Hon’ble Secretary, BVVS, graced the occasion. CEOs and HRs from several industries around Bidadi and Bengaluru attended the event. During the meet, MoUs have been signed with 30+ industries to facilitate internships, project works, industrial visits, guest lectures, faculty training, placements, and consultancies for the faculties and students of AIEMS. The Department of Mechanical Engineering, AIEMS, entered into MoU with the following companies: Bhavani Industries, Grupo Antolin, Chaithanya Precision Pvt. Ltd., Distinct Productivity Solutions, Madhus Garage, Mac Precitec India, Kshipra Simulations Pvt. Ltd., Nikit Engineers, PEE Solar India, Sree Mookambika Precision Industries, and Sona Group of Industries.
